Eric McGraw – Actor

Eric McGraw is a performer extraordinaire. His experience includes both film and theatre; his talents, just to name a few, include acting, singing and dancing. His experience, training and skills are detailed in his resume (PDF). You can also view clips of his work below.
Eric loves the sensitivity and appreciation for life that his craft gives him. His openness to the Universe allows him to view all life’s lessons as feedback and use them as opportunities to grow and live in authenticity.

Eric has starred in two films, “Swimming To The Moon” (info) and “Down a Dark Road” (info), both produced by Runaway Pictures (view their site for more information and scene stills from the two films). Swimming To The Moon will tour for the next year as an official selection in the Southern Arts Federation’s Southern Short Circuit traveling film festival.
Eric began performing as a small child, singing and dancing for his family on the dining room table. His first experience on stage came at age 14, whereupon he recognized his “calling”, and has been performing ever since. With much training and experience under his belt, he continues to rediscover his inextinguishable passion for the craft and the limitless joy in it’s expression. He loves having the opportunity to “try on” completely different ways of being, seeking deeper understanding, and compassion. “I love listening to, and telling our stories.”
A few of my greatest “heros” are the likes of Anthony Hopkins, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, and Nicole Kidman, for the transformative qualities that they bring to their work. The characters they bring to life show great diversity of range, and profound depth of soul. I am inspired and motivated by their artistry, as well as by what I see of their personal lives and the way they handle “celebrity”. I hope they (the audience) experience what I do when I witness the great work of those actors whom I admire so much: catharsis, inspiration, transformation, and appreciation.

As I just finished watching your music video Eric, I am left inspired. I couldn’t help the tears from streaming down my face and experiencing a shift inside me especially as the words you sang “fighting with the pain, letting go of hope”. I LOVE who you are and how you keep showing up in my life, gently nudging me to keep being my gift, just by showing up to be yours.

Eric
Great video. Awe, wonder, pain, and hope all wrapped in 3 minutes.
Thanks for making a difference in the life of my son today. He has been talking about you and his experience at Main Street Theatre. It is great to know that there are still a few who don’t forget where they came from and are willing to make a difference in the life of a child. They are our future.
A greatful mom.

Larendee,
I feel sorry that I did not see your wonderful post until today. I so appreciate your generous feedback! Who is your son? I will be teaching regularly at the theatre starting in Sept. I hope I get to work with him again. Blessings to you!
