Paula’s favorite part about creating these natural products is playing with new creations… new scent combinations, new recipes, creative packaging. “Every time I see someone using my lip balm or pull out my lotion, it puts a big smile on my face. I love getting to see my vision in physical form and touching people’s lives.” She also loves educating people about what goes into skin care, and even teaching them to create these types of products themselves.

Pampered, rich and loved… that is how Paula wants everyone using her products to feel. For her, America’s body image and beauty-obsessed culture are repulsive. Firming creams, cellulite solutions, wrinkle creams and the like are all pounding in the “I’m not good enough” image to women. In her opinion, they do far much more damage to women’s self esteem than good. “I am clear that I don’t want to energetically contribute to what I feel is an industry that preys upon and expands on the “not enough” belief system on this planet, so you’ll never see my company creating products like these. I view all women as beautiful for who they are, as they are. I wish our society did too.”
What she DOES want is for people to have healthy skin that feels amazing and for them to receive the love and good energy she puts in the product. “I want people to feel pampered and cared for simply because they are.”
Coming up with a name that really expressed the essence of her company and products was challenging. One day, she was going through some of her writings and found a writing exercise in which she had paired colors with feelings. “The phrase “Lime Giddy” leaped off the page and I knew I had my name. It is a perfect description of how I feel when making these products. I hope you find the same kind of pleasure in using them!” Nature and its power have been part of her consciousness since she was a tiny child and she has been studying this particular area of natural bath and body products for more than 11 years.
So, what sets Paula’s products apart? |
Custom CreationI have already made product, but I love designing products specifically for you. You can choose your scent, color, style and even packaging if you desire. I can also create custom products based on your skin type, allergies etc. |
ValueWith no “middle man” you can get luscious, natural bath and body care products for 40 to 70 percent less than what you’ll pay at a store. |
Green Incentives ProgramI am committed to being as earth friendly as possible. One service I offer is a refill option. Bring a container back to me to refill and you’ll get a discount on your purchase. As much as possible I use #1 and #2 plastics as they are the most easily and readily recyclable. I use paper made from 100% recycled material and I am looking at transitioning to soy-based inks. |
Body and Soul PartiesCreating your own custom product is fun and economical. I bring the pre-made bases for the products you’d like to make; you get to customize them with your own scent, color, botanicals and labels. If desired, I will also bring delicious, healthy food to enhance the party experience. This is perfect for a “girls night out”, birthday party, family reunion, housewarming or a gift making party (these are very popular around Mother’s Day and Christmas time so book early). And yes! There are cool incentives if you host a party |
Teaching ClassesIf this is something you would love to know more about so you can make products like this yourself, you have come to the right person! I have a genius for teaching in fun, creative ways that can be adapted to visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners. I’d love you to come and play! |
Paula has been deeply influenced by Fred Rogers because was teaching kids to be friends with their feelings long before it became the “hip” thing to do. “If you haven’t “played” in Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood for a while, I highly recommend it!” Her mom has also had a huge influence on her as well. She managed a health food store during many of Paula’s growing up years and they also spent lots of time in nature learning about plants and animals and how to respect and protect them. “She taught me the value and power of nature and her gifts. She also studied Tai Chi and surrounded herself with people fluent in the study of energy and it’s effect on our lives. One of my earliest memories is sitting on my mom’s lap while one of her friends taught me about reflexology.”

Paula,
Your products would be so wonderful for hospice patients. One way in particular that came to mind is that petroleum products and oxygen can be very dangerous when used together.
You genuis, you!!!
Way to create!!
Your Easter egg creation is amazing!! LOVE IT!!
