Bringing Family Together

So many people have talked about Adrianna’s genius at bringing community, and especially family together. Joe Read (dad) in particular has spoken about his amazing experiences in family coming together because of Adrianna. He says that she has created a ripple affect so big that he may not ever know the extent of it. In the short time she was here, people from all different backgrounds, communities and families came together to see her, laugh with her, play with her and support her. It has been an amazing site to witness and a fulfilling experience to be a part of.

Love

Adrianna was a genius with love. “Her life was six weeks of constant loving and being lovable.” She generated love, she gave love, she received love and she was irresistibly lovable. The million dollar question:  “How can we all get back to that place of constant loving?” – Karen Bayard

People seemed compelled to be with Adrianna. She was so good at just being in her essence that just her presence drew people in from all over to be with her.

Manifestor

Adrianna had a knack for manifesting. She’s been called the “Gift Magnet” because it seemed like people were constantly gifting her things. Natalie Read (mom) said that in the hospital she was constantly turning around to find new gifts that people had left for Adrianna in and around her crib. Even people who didn’t know Adrianna were showing up to support. Annabeth Christie told the story that she was back visiting Adrianna in the hospital and there was a man there taking care of her. She started asking the man some questions about how Adrianna was doing but he didn’t know the answers. Finally he admitted that he didn’t actually work at the hospital… he was the ambulance driver who had brought Adrianna to the hospital the day before and he came back to see how she was doing and help take care of her.

Teacher

Adrianna gave permission for and held space for people around her to experience all emotions free, easily and without judgment. She also gave people the opportunity to find the perfect way to show up. As people gathered to support Adrianna, Joe and Natalie there was a lot to be done: emotional support, details to be sorted out, physical things to be done. Everything happened perfectly as family and friends each showed up in their own unique ways.

Inherited Genius

Vivian (grandma) told stories about Joe as a child. She said he was always taking care of people and always knew what other people needed. She said “he’d always bring stray kids home!”; kids he knew needed help and Vivian ended up just getting a spare bunk-bed because Joe wanted to help so much. Vivian talked about seeing those same qualities in Adrianna.
