Kaitlyn Gordon – Actor
Kaitlyn sings, dances and acts. She had her first experience with acting in 2008 during her school’s musical production, “Seussical the Musical” where she played a Bird Girl and fell in love with acting. “I loved singing and had so much fun. I felt happy through the whole process of the production. I was surprised that I could get so tired through the process AND still be having fun!”
Kaitlyn has another performance coming up soon! In the Open Classroom’s production of “The Twelve Dancing Princesses” she has been cast in the role of Camelia. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 28, 29 and 30 starting at 7:00pm at the Open Classroom 3rd Avenue and E Street in Salt Lake City, Utah.
When she is learning a new role, she reads through the lines and says them to herself over
and over again to get to know the character better through that part of the process. “I like working with my director because she really knows what she’s doing and how to make the show look great. Working with her helped me to be a better actress and performer.”
Kaitlyn wants people to feel excited, entertained and happy when they see her perform. She has taken ballet and tap, which helps with being on stage. “I really love tap!” Her mom says she was born a drama queen; when she was a baby her mom understood her before she could talk by the way she was acting.

You really are a genius — you are growing up so fast. Sorry Grandpa & I won’t be in town to see you on stage again, but you were the best in your last production, and I know you will be the greatest in this one also. Love you Grandma

Wow! A mini movie star in the making. Run with 100% dedication toward what you’re after, whether it’s acting or something else. If your drive is sincere, you’ll get there no problem. Way to light up the stage Lynn Lynn.
